Campus Hotel

Consisting of two separate buildings Campus Hotel surrounds a pleasant green spot with shadowy trees. In building A there are 25 single bedrooms and 161 twin-bedded rooms each of which is air-conditioned and equipped with a bathroom, a telephone, a TV, a refrigerator and Internet access. The hotel, which is a great blend of comfort and modernity, provides well furnished shared kitchens on every floor.

In building B twin-bedded and multi-bedded rooms are available with three beds. There are 138 twin-bedded and 99 three-bedded rooms, most of which have fully outfitted kitchen corners. The ensuite bedrooms are provided with a refrigerator, a TV, a telephone and Internet access.

 

During the semesters the hotel sited in Debrecen is a dormitory that accommodates students while in the summer and when it has some capacity it serves as a hotel. And so if you want to take the best out of your holiday in the campus of Debrecen University, beyond our accommodation services we offer a 24 hour reception service, a modern laundromat, a central safety deposit box, a minibar, a fitness room, a restaurant, a bowling centre with a snack bar, a café, a hotel security service and sports courts. We also provide our guests with the opportunity to purchase tickets at preferential rates to Debreceni Gyógyfürdő (Debrecen Thermal Baths) and Aquaticum Medicinal and Bathing Centre.

 

The construction of the hotel didn’t last longer than one year. Due to a governmental decision on higher education the new dormitory complex was built with the help of private funds in 2003. The hotel which can host 930 guests at the same time was expressly built to plans by architects Ferenc Bán DLA, a Kossuth and Ybl Prize winner, and Zoltán László. The construction work was carried out by Hunép Universal Zrt. (HUNÉP Universal Building Corp).
